Jillian Lansky is Many Women

Jillian Lansky is Many Women

Jillian Lansky is many women.

She is a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter.

She is a content creator, a role that requires her to wear many hats from stylist, makeup artist, and hair stylist, to director, editor, and social media expert.

She is an entrepreneur who often struggles with the balance of motherhood and business. While Jillian’s work allows her to feel like she has her own identity, separate from that of “mom,” she (like many of us) often feels as though she’s failing at one role or the other.

She is an athlete who grew up playing sports with the boys at recess. She loves soccer and played at a competitive level for many years. To this day she’s still friends with her teammates – some were even in her wedding party!

She is a voracious reader. Getting lost in a good book has always eased her own anxieties and made her feel more relaxed.

She is a loyal friend. It can be hard to get to know Jillian, but once you do, she’s the kind of friend that would do anything for you. She may seem closed off or shy at first, but once she’s comfortable with you, she’s goofy and sarcastic.

Jillian Lansky is each of these women, and her positive aging plan fits the sum of each and every one of her parts.

You might be surprised to know that growing up, Jillian was very uninterested in skincare and cosmetics; she was much more interested in playing soccer. Fashion also alluded her—she actually repeatedly wore the same Nike sweatsuit for years—a stark contrast to the woman who went on to earn a Fashion Merchandising Diploma (after dropping out of an unfulfilling Psychology program) and now regularly produces fashion content for her followers. The catalyst for her love of makeup, beauty, and fashion was actually a well-timed copy of Allure magazine featuring Kate Moss on the cover. From then on, she consumed everything and anything she could on the topic. For Jillian, the world of beauty became soothing and comforting, an outlet for self-expression, and it’s still something that she considers to be self-care.

When Jillian met Dr. Katie Beleznay and the team at Humphrey & Beleznay Cosmetic Dermatology, she immediately felt understood. As someone who has always prioritized subtle, natural results, she appreciated that the 360° approach to cosmetic intervention considered her as a whole person with a unique personality and set of interests, needs, and goals, as opposed to wrinkles or pigmentation to be treated.

As Jillian ages, what’s more important to her than ever is time and experiences with the people she loves – travelling, laughing, aging gracefully. She’s come to realize that the concept of women “doing it all” is an unrealistic standard that is actually quite toxic and damaging. She knows she can’t “do it all” and stay mentally healthy, sane, and happy. Jillian’s trying to keep herself in check – to accept help, and lean on her village to bolster her in all facets of work, parenting… and along her journey towards graceful aging.

She is not the perfect woman–nor is she striving to be—because that woman doesn’t exist. A 360° plan need only fit the one beautiful soul it belongs to… and there is only one Jillian Lansky.
