Michelle Addison’s Experience with Platysma Neuromodulator For the Treatment of Neck Bands
A more youthful-looking neck can inspire fresh confidence. The vertical bands in our neck, caused by the platysma muscle, become more prominent with age as collagen and elastin production decline, and with repetitive neck and jaw muscle contractions. What inspired you to try neuromodulators for the treatment of neck bands? Have you noticed your neck changing over time?
I was feeling like my neck was showing some signs of loose skin and I wanted to see if this treatment could help reduce the signs of aging.
How did you feel during and after your treatment?
The treatment was so easy and quick, and it was relatively painless. I felt great following the treatment as well, I was at work that same afternoon!
What improvements have you noticed since your treatment, and how long did it take to notice a change?
I’ve noticed a tightening in my neck and improved skin texture. It only took about 5-6 days to start noticing a change.
How have these improvements impacted your confidence, and/or overall appearance?
I really love anything to do with enhancing tightness in my neck. I work on camera and the less I have to worry about in terms of angles, the better!
What was your experience like with Dr. Humphrey and the Humphrey & Beleznay Dermatology team?
I always feel that Dr. Humphrey has my best interests in mind. The clinic is beautiful and the staff and nurses are excellent. Truly the best service and clinic and results in the city (Vancouver, BC). I feel privileged to be included as a client. Would you try this treatment again?
Absolutely. The treatment was a great addition to my 360° treatment plan- and I’ll continue to do it when I go for my maintenance appointments every three to four months.
What other treatments do you recommend to friends?
My favourites are microneedling with PRP, IPL and Sculptra. Oh and Botox! I can’t live without it.
