Rutuja Dandgaval is Many Women
Rutuja Dandgaval is Many Women.
She is a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a devoted aunt to her 10 year old niece, Arzoi, whose presence brings immense joy and warmth to her life. These roles ground her and shape how she shows up in the world each day.
She is an overseas-trained dentist and a clinical research professional at Humphrey & Beleznay Cosmetic Dermatology, working at an intersection of healthcare, science and innovation. She is also the founder of a boutique management consultancy supporting dental practices across Australia and India.
She is a global citizen, having lived and worked in Canada, Australia, India, the United States, and Uganda. Each experience has deepened her appreciation for culture, food, and meaningful human connection.
She is an advocate for women’s health and empowerment. Her work on a public health project in rural northern Uganda, focused on intimate partner violence, shaped her commitment to creating spaces where women feel safe, supported, and empowered.
She is a dedicated practitioner of yoga and meditation, disciplines that have been part of her life for over a decade, helping her cultivate stillness amidst constant personal and professional evolution.
She is a passionate cook and baker, finding joy in preparing dishes like chicken biryani and pavlovas to share with others.
She is a dancer, fluent in Indian classical Bharat Natyam, Egyptian belly dancing, and Bollywood, expressing creativity and connection through movement.
Rutuja Dandgaval is each of these women, and her positive aging plan fits the sum of each and every one of her parts.
For Rutuja, a 360° approach to beauty and self-care is rooted in nurturing the mind, body, and soul in a way that feels aligned and sustainable. It is grounded in balance, awareness, and intention. In her daily life, this takes shape through meditation, yoga, and mindful nutrition, alongside a commitment to creating a positive environment for herself and those around her. Beauty, in her view, is not defined by appearance alone, but by a sense of comfort within oneself and one’s surroundings.
At Humphrey & Beleznay Cosmetic Dermatology, this philosophy is not only practiced, but lived. Rutuja experiences firsthand how a culture centred on well-being, connection, and mutual support can influence confidence and longevity. Being surrounded by a team of women who uplift and empower one another has been especially meaningful. It reinforces her belief that true confidence comes from alignment, both internally and externally, and from feeling supported in environments that value growth in all its forms.
As she moves through life, Rutuja finds herself placing greater importance on confidence, self-acceptance, and a preventative approach to care. Her relationship with aesthetic treatments reflects this perspective. Rather than seeking transformation, she focuses on maintaining and enhancing her natural features in a way that supports long-term skin health. Her approach includes treatments such as Clear + Brilliant®, Laser Genesis, and neuromodulators, alongside a simple, effective skincare routine. Her goal is to feel healthy, refreshed, and at ease, an outward reflection of how she feels within.
Her perspective on beauty was shaped early on by her mother, who instilled in her the importance of being comfortable in her own skin. In a world where beauty standards did not always reflect her identity, this message was both grounding and empowering. Beauty, she learned, is not about changing who you are, but about caring for yourself in a way that reflects health and self-respect.
Today, Rutuja views skincare and aesthetic treatments as tools that support confidence and well-being, not as a means of altering identity. Through her experience at Humphrey & Beleznay Cosmetic Dermatology, she has found a personalized approach that aligns with her values, comfort, and lifestyle. The result is not only visible in her skin, but in how she feels, grounded, aligned, and at ease in who she is becoming.
Rutuja is not striving to be the perfect woman, because that woman does not exist. A 360° plan need only fit the one beautiful soul it belongs to… and there is only one Rutuja Dandgaval.
